Man killed crossing highway

A homeless man was killed while trying to cross the Solomon Hochoy Highway around 9.30 on Saturday night.

The car, a blue Nissan Wingroad, hit the unidentified man of East Indian descent near Fen’s Furniture Store in Chaguanas.

He was declared dead on the scene. Police of the central bureau are continuing investigations.
