Rohan wrong

THE EDITOR: The reliable incompetence of Minister Rohan Sinanan once again could not be camouflaged at the recent PNM meeting. Sinanan accused my stewardship as Minister of Transport of "bad spending" $389 million raised via a bond to be used for the construction of licensing offices.

He alleged that the money should have been used to construct three such offices but only one was built in Caroni instead. Sinanan was so fixated on my stewardship that he failed to recognise it was Chandresh Sharma who was responsible for that ministry when the bonds were raised and the offices built.

This is the irresponsible conduct of Sinanan the population has come to expect. He should tell us about the cost paid for Kay Donna land; the cost of the Manzanilla land; why the water taxis are failing; the cost of the new seabridge vessels and why they are failing, including the costs of the ramps, dredging, etc.

Who was responsible for the removal over over 200 loads of dirt from the Caroni River bank? Given that Sinanan clearly does no preparation for his address, the population cannot rely on anything he says.
