Upon entering, they saw Amoroso lying unconscious on her bed, with blood dripping from her eyes, nose and mouth.

The police and emergency health services were alerted and the teen was rushed to the Scarborough General Hospital where she was treated. Police said that the teenager suffered head injuries, as well as injuries to her eardrums and left eye, along with a fractured jaw.
