TT look to rebound in Under-17 cricket

TT will aim to bounce back against Barbados and take the lead in the West Indies Future Stars Regional Under-17 tournament, when the penultimate round is contested from 9.30 am, today.

After winning back-to-back matches to start the tournament, TT lost by two runs to Jamaica in round three, on Tuesday, at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, in Tarouba.

TT now lie second in the standings with 9.2 points, behind leaders Barbados with 11 points. Barbados also started the tournament with back-to-back wins, before their last match was abandoned against Leeward Islands.

In other matches today, third placed Jamaica tackle sixth placed Guyana, at Gilbert Park, in Couva and fourth placed Leeward Islands play fifth placed Windward Islands, at Brian Lara Cricket Academy.
