Man shoots at Beetham housing complex

Members of the Inter Agency Task Force (IATF) are on the hunt for a man who shot at a housing development complex near the Beetham scrapyard this afternoon.

Police said at around 2.35 pm the man approached the complex, stuck his hand through a wrought iron gate and fired several shots before running away into the community.

Residents heard the gunshots and took cover. No one was wounded.
