The incident allegedly happened while the victim was working at the Plymouth Multipurpose Facility on May 8.

The woman was allegedly held against her will at gunpoint and sexually assaulted at the facility, in the Arnos Vale area, near the corner of Pentland Road and Adventure Link Road.

Hunte is also accused of taking two electronic devices and a sum of money from the victim before fleeing.

Hunte was arrested during an anti-crime exercise conducted by the Tobago Divisional CID in the Scarborough and Shirvan police district between 4 am and 8.30 am last Friday. He was positively identified by the victim during an ID parade on Monday. The case has been adjourned to June 12.

Hunte also appeared before Cedeno for robbery with aggravation in an unrelated matter, which allegedly took place at Starfish Hotel, then called Turtle Beach Hotel. The charge was laid indictably and he was remanded into custody until June 12.

Hunte then appeared before Magistrate Brian Dabideen in the second court to answer the charge of drug trafficking. He pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine and was sentenced to one year and six months hard labour.
