Gasparillo man killed in Morvant

Police are investigating an incident in which an 18-year-old Gasparillo man was killed in Mon Repos, Morvant, last night.

Police said, residents heard gunfire at around 9 pm and, on checking, saw Josh Lalla, of Harmony Hall.

They called the police and members of the North Eastern Division Task Force went to the scene and took him to the Port of Spain General Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

Investigators are not sure what he was doing in the area.

Members of the Region One Homicide Bureau are continuing inquiries.
