NP: Water in fuel report is fake news
THE National Petroleum Marketing Company Ltd (NP) has declared as "fake news", a report circulating on social media yesterday of fuel contamination at eight service stations.
NP in a media release stated that after investigating the report, it found that the claims were false and unfounded. As the largest Service Station network operator in Trinidad and Tobago, the NP release said, the company remains committed to providing a reliable and convenient supply of quality fuel to customers and communities.
"NP wishes to assure the public that we remain committed to ensuring the timely delivery of quality fuel by land, by sea and by air to our Service Station network; Airports in Trinidad and Tobago; industrial customers including the Port Authority; all Hospitals; and all the Protective Services.
