Hillview claim Intercol T20 hat-trick

HILLVIEW College made it a hat-trick of titles in the PowerGen Secondary Schools Cricket League Intercol T20 competition with a victory over Presentation College, Chaguanas at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba, last night.

It was one of the more festive moods at a schools cricket final in recent years with students, parents and teachers cheering on their teams with flags and tassa. It was Hillview's flags that were waving the highest at the end of the match after prevailing with a 13-run victory.

Batting first, Hillview posted 100/9 in 20 overs before restricting Presentation to 87/9 in response.
