Baby dies at day care

Police are investigating the circumstances behind the death of a six month old baby girl at an El Socorro day care centre on Thursday afternoon.

Police said staff at the centre found Zuri Cedeno unconscious and took her to the Barataria Health Centre where she was declared dead.

Police were called in and interviewed staff and parents.

A post mortem is expected to be conducted tomorrow to determine a cause of death.

No one has been arrested in relation to the death.
