Princes Town man shot dead near his home

A Princes Town man was killed while liming with friends in front of his home on Sunday night.

Dead is Dwight Alibocas of Cemetery Road.

Police said, about 8.30 pm masked men in a Mitsubishi Outlander SUV drove by the group and started shooting before driving off.

Alibocas was shot to the head and chest and died on the spot.

Police were called in and a doctor declared Alibocas dead and ordered the body’s removal to the Forensic Science Centre.

Up to this morning, police are questioning several people.

No arrests have been made.

Homicide Region Three police are investigating.
