El Socorro man, 30, murdered

A 30-year-old El Socorro man was killed outside his home last night.

Police said Rajindra Bharath was outside his Don Miguel Road home at around 9 o’clock when he was shot.

Relatives heard the gun shot and, upon checking, saw him bleeding.

He was taken to the Mt Hope hospital where he died while receiving treatment.

Police said no arrests have been made as yet and a motive is not known.

Bharath's murder brings the murder toll to 176.
