Freeport man held for birthday party robbery

A Freeport man was arrested for the assault and robbery of birthday party patrons at a Chaguanas bar on Saturday night.

Police said the man who is in his mid twenties was arrested on Sunday and they are searching for other bandits who were involved in the robbery.

Newsday understands four men stormed a birthday party at the Classic Recreation Club, Todd's Road, at around 11.10 pm where they beat one of the patrons and robbed the others.
