One dead, 4 wounded in Morvant shooting

One man is dead and four others wounded after an attack on limers at Almond Drive, Morvant, last night.

Police said five men were playing dominoes at around 9.15 pm when two gunmen walked to the back of the building and shot at them.

One man, identified as Honore Ifill, who was in his early forties, was shot in the chest. The others were wounded.

The men ran away.

Police were called and members of the North Eastern Division Task Force took the wounded men to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, where Ifill died while being treated.

No one has been arrested.
