EDUCATION Minister Anthony Garcia this morning said the issue of publishing Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) examination results will be on the agenda for discussion on Tuesday.

He addressed the issue during a media conference at the Education Ministry's offices in Port of Spain. He reported on Wednesday he received an opinion from the ministry's legal advisor and manager of legal unit on the publishing of SEA.

"And I we will be discussing that legal opinion with our statutory executive team (at our regular) meeting on Tuesday."

Asked if a final decision will be taken at this meeting Garcia said the final decision will be made by the ministry.

"But of course you know we will look at the advice that we get from our stakeholders and in particular we will look at the legal aspect."

Garcia said he has received letters from some education stakeholders which indicate the ministry should take a very close look at the issue. He said the suggestions were both for publishing and not publishing.

Asked what was his personal view Garcia replied he was not permitted to give a personal view.

"I am to get the view of the Ministry of Education."
