THE camaraderie among the different banking organizations continued with the tradition of fun, fitness and friendship as each team came out in their numbers to compete in football and cricket competitions at the Republic Bank Sports Club in Barataria, on Saturday.

From the beginning TT Mortgage Finance (TTMF), making their debut at the games, signalled that they were not part of the Games just to make up numbers and they bought their A Game to cop the football title when they defeated First Citizens Bank.

Earlier, the cricket action got under way as the first order of events and it did not disappoint as sixes and fours were smashed. There could be only one winner, and the cricket trophy went to First Citizens, who reversed the result of the football tournament by beating TTMF.

The event was supported by sponsors Blue Waters and GNC. The organisers thanked St John’s Ambulance, The TT Police Service, Odyssey Timing Company, REACT, The Lupus Foundation, the volunteers and the media for making the event successful.

Next on the CariFin Games agenda is the aerobics burnout which will be held on April 24 at 5 pm at the Central Bank of TT. Who will win this challenge of challenges for their team?
