Man crushed to death by tractor

A CEDROS man was crushed to death after the tractor he was driving fell on him on Saturday. He is Andy Toolsie, 33, of Granville Old Road, Cedros.

Police said, Toolsie was driving a the tractor on the incline of a piece of land along the Granville Old Road when he got into difficulty.

The tractor overturned and Toolsie was thrown out. The tractor then landed on him in the bushes. He was taken to the Point Fortin hospital where doctors declared him dead. Police said he suffered massive head injuries.

An autopsy is expected to be done today. Sgt Putkoo of the Cedros station is investigating.
