Seven traffic cops to be charged for fraud

Seven police officers assigned to the Traffic and Highway Patrol Unit were arrested at the their homes and various offices today for allegedly defrauding the Toyota company.

Details are still sketchy at this time, but senior police confirmed the seven were detained and were being charged this afternoon.

They are expected to appear before a Port of Spain magistrate tomorrow to face the charges.
