‘Call anyone and I will kill yuh’

ARIMA police are on the hunt for two men after they robbed a 56-year-old Arima woman on Tuesday afternoon at her home. Police said the woman arrived at her La Croix Trace home at around 2.15 pm and saw two men, one with a gun, who pointed it at her and said, “Doh say anything or call anybody or ah go kill yuh.”

The woman handed over her purse containing reading glasses and 26,000 in cash. Both men ran away from the house.

In an unrelated incident, electricity cables between LP 416 and LP 425 along Mundo Nuevo Road, Talparo, were reported missing at around 3.05 pm on Tuesday by a technician from the Telecommunications Services Company of TT (TSTT). The technician said he last saw the cables intact at around 12 am on Saturday. The cables were valued at an estimated $10,000. Enquiries are continuing.
