Obesity can be deadly

THE EDITOR: I dare say there is no cute acceptable way to say that being grossly overweight could lead to sudden death. Let us all walk past the body-shaming old talk and admit that it is possible to drop down dead in the street from the attending illness/conditions that go with obesity.

Dr Fuad Khan, a former minister of health, is correct in his observations but some statements need to be doctored for public consumption.
