Tourist robbed at Grafton Beach

TWO men are assisting police after an elderly couple from New Brunswick, Canada visiting Tobago fell victims to robbery with violence.

Police told Newsday that around 1.30pm on Sunday, 63-year-old Roderick MacMullin and his 65-year-old wife Neena were suntanning at Grafton Beach when they were beaten and robbed of a wallet containing US $15, a VISA card, a Mastercard and a cell phone.

The MacMullin’s were taken to Scarborough General Hospital by the Emergency Health Service for medical treatment.
