Pan on the move

THE EDITOR: Firstly, it is my duty to give the new president of Pan Trinbago, Beverly Ramsey-Moore, some kudos for her effort in changing the dependency syndrome, a history of the panman over the years.

Also, congratulations on her being the first woman at the helm of an executive once dominated by men. We all are quite aware that there are financial challenges but with perseverance she will succeed.

The previous Keith Diaz-led executive spoke was in turmoil with lock-outs and physical and verbal clashes. However, I am looking forward, in the interest of pan, which we all profess to love so dearly, to the past and present executives getting together and moving Pan Trinbago forward and eliminating the problems in the steelband movement.
