Marsville first on stage in soca semis

Barbadian soca singer Marsville (Omar McQuilkin) will be first on stage with his popular Wuk, when the semifinal round of competition takes place at the Arima Velodrome on February 10, from 3 pm.

First-timer in the competition Chromatics (Richard Raj-Kumar), popularly known for his annual “Carnival Rap Up”, will follow with his number My Type.

However all eyes will be on Swappi (Marvin Davis) when he sings in tenth position his very popular Party Start, as well as Grenadian Mandella Linkz (Mandela Mc Donald), who performs Tombstone right after him and Dexter “Blaxx” Stewart in 14the position with Gyal Owner, a party favourite.

Third Base-Trino-G (Adrian Hackshaw) will close off the groovy competition singing a number called Harder in position 23.In the Power Soca category,” the big man in the business,” Neil “Iwer the Boss” George is listed to perform his Blessings in seventh position. Before him though will be Granny (Nikki Crosby), who will Juggle It in fourth position, while Jadel (Jadine Legere) is expected to heat up the place with Jam Day in ninth position.

Returning once again to the stage is KMC (Ken Marlom Charles). He sings Block Party in 13th position while Hashim DA Dream (Hashim Lewis) will close off the competition night with Momentum.
