IMMANUEL Francis scored five tries, the best individual tally by any player in the Secondary Schools Girls Rugby League on Wednesday, leading Bishop Anstey to a comprehensive 39-0 win over Tranquillity Secondary.

The win, recorded at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain, saw Bishop Anstey react well to its 12-0 loss to San Juan North in week two action.

Also on the score-sheet for Bishop Anstey were Keryce Baptiste with two tries and Babi Qera and Jada Des Vignes with one conversion each.

In other week three results, San Juan edged Providence 5-0 in extra-time with Asia Fergus scoring the dramatic try.

Bishop Centenary B, with 14 players at their disposal, played Bishop Centenary A in a seven-a-side format.

Bishop Centenary school has continued to impress on the rugby pitch. Centenary B, coming off a 20-0 victory over Tranquillity Secondary in their last match, took care of their A counterparts 5-0.
