Young tours Camp Cumuto

NATIONAL Security Minister Stuart Young envisages Camp Cumuto playing an important role in the fight against crime. Young expressed this view when he toured the camp on Tuesday. Commissioner of Police Gary Griffith, Air Guard commanding officer group captain Darryl Daniel and the Strategic Services Agency (SSA) director joined Young on the tour.

A statement from the ministry said Young addressed officers from the Police Service, SSA and Defence Force during his tour. He said there would be increased used of facilites at Camp Cumuto by various units which will be assigned to do intelligence-driven operations. He also said the camp will be used for specialised training.
