Man in court for sexual touching

BRIAN BARROW, 46, of Forres Trace, Caratal Road, Claxton Bay appeared before a San Fernando magistrate yesterday charged with sexually touching a five-year-old girl.

The magistrate read a charge that between March 31, 2017 and May 15, 2017, he sexually touched the girl. The charge was laid indictably and Barrow was not called upon to plead.

He is a contractor by profession without any previous criminal convictions or pending cases. Chankar granted him $100,000 bail with a surety and ordered him not to contact the victim or her relatives, whether directly or indirectly, and stay 100 feet away from the child. He was ordered to reappear on February 28.
