TT citizens are ready to recycle, but do not have sufficient bins and funding from Government is non-existent. Founder of Plastikeep Rosanna Farmer is asking for a formal handover of the 70 metal bins to Government iCare project. She said everything from Plastikeep belonged to the Government, but the organisation was funded by Green Fund.

Farmer said she had spent about $150,000 out of pocket to keep the project going while Government owed millions. She said when the project started Planning Minister Camille Robinson-Regis said no contract had been signed at the time as it was not under her jurisdiction.

"Give me the assets to continue this work," Farmer said.
