PUBLIC Utilities Minister Robert Le Hunte says there are no more job cuts planned at TSTT.

He was responding to a question in the House on Friday.

He said arising out of the restructuring of TSTT a total of 554 employees have been separated as at December 14, 2018 and of this figure 503 were unionised and 51 were non-unionised.

Couva South MP Rudranath Indarsingh asked if going forward there will be no further job losses within both the unionised and non-unionised bargaining units.

Le Hunte said: "Based on the information that is before me those as at that date the company has finished their restructuring exercise and therefore we are not seeing any need for any further reductions going forward."

Indarsingh asked if all 554 employees had received their full separation packages from TSTT and Le Hunte said the amount of money owed to the former employees the due date for payment would be the end of the month.

"And I think things are on track to facilitate that due date."
