The Prime Minister has said the Sandals project had widespread public support in Tobago.
"If you ask me how I know that, I live in Tobago as well as Trinidad," he said.
Dr Rowley said this at the Diplomatic Centre today as he addressed the media on national issues. He said he also went to Scarborough, sat down in front of the population and discussed Sandals with the people in front of the national community.
He said the Opposition Leader's statement that the project did not find widespread support was misinformation.
