PM declines comment on Sandals withdrawal

The Prime Minister this morning declined to comment on the withdrawal of Sandals International from its proposed Tobago project.

Dr. Rowley was asked by reporters to comment on the exit of the luxury resort operators, as he left a sod turning ceremony for the Diego Martin Pedestrian Walkover at the Four Roads Government Primary School.

He said he preferred to make a statement on it during tomorrow's post-Cabinet press briefing.

This afternoon, the Office of the Prime Minister invited media to a "conversation" with Rowley at 1.30 pm Thursday, to discuss national issues.
