Young on Sandals withdrawal: We're not giving up

National Security Minister Stuart Young says the Government isn't going to "just give up" on the Tobago project.

Speaking to media at a press conference to announce Sandals withdrawal from the project, Young said the Government would continue to look for opportunities in Tobago.

"We will continue to look and see if there are opportunities for Tobago. We believe in Tobago. We believe in the destination of Tobago."

He said Sandals also believed in Tobago and said the island continued to fit in the spectrum of long-term viewing.
