Finance Committee meets tomorrow

THE Standing Finance Committee of the House of Representatives will meet tomorrow at Tower D of the Port of Spain International Waterfront Centre from 1.30 pm. The committee will deal with the consideration of proposals for the Variation of Appropriation for fiscal 2018. This exercise is the routine closing off of accounts for the last fiscal year. Before this committee meets, the Committee on State Enterprises holds a public hearing at Tower D with officials from the National Flour Mills.

The Senate holds its first sitting for the year on Tuesday at Tower D from 1.30 pm. The main item on the agenda is the Planning and Facilitation of Development (Amendment) Bill, 2018.
