3 arrested for stolen alcohol

Three men were arrested earlier this morning for the possession of marijuana and stolen alcohol.

Police said at about 5 am, Besson Street police, together with Port of Spain city police, led by acting Insp McGuirk, Supt Charles and Cpls John and McShine went on patrol in the Port of Spain market.

They searched three men, ages 40, 60 and 28, and found several packets of marijuana and ten cases of alcohol, for which they could not account.

The men are expected to be charged.
