Gonzales charged for sex abuse of minor

A GONZALES man will appear before a Port of Spain Magistrate next week, charged with sexual penetration against a 13-year-old girl, which occurred on Monday January 7.

According to a press release from the TTPS, Simon Gordon, 55, is expected to appear before Magistrate Adia Mohammed in the Port of Spain 7th Court on Monday to answer the charge laid by WPC Charles of Port of Spain Division’s

Child Protection Unit (CPU).

The charge was laid on Thursday following investigations into a report of sexual penetration against a minor. The alleged incident is said to have taken place on Monday last. A report was made to police the following day and an investigation launched.

Investigations were supervised by Insp Gideon Dickson of the PoS Division CPU.
