TT quartet joins Hart at Canada club

TT footballers Jan-Michael Williams, Elton John, Akeem Garcia and Andre Rampersad will join ex-national coach Stephen Hart and another TT coach Derek King at Halifax Wanderers FC.

The players are the first international signings made by the club, who will compete at the inaugural 2019 Canadian Premier League.

Williams, a 34-year-old goalkeeper, recently played with Guatemala club Sacachispas while John, a 31-year-old central midfielder, was the captain of San Juan Jabloteh during the latter stages of the 2018 Pro League season.

Garcia and Rampersad were members of FC Santa Rosa, the club which King guided to the 2018 TT Super League crown.
