Bandits escape with cash from Courts

Port of Spain CID detectives are probing the break-in and theft of an undisclosed amount of cash between Saturday night and Sunday from the Frederick Street, Port of Spain branch of Courts.

Around 2.10 pm on Saturday, a supervisor at the establishment locked the business place and left.

She returned around 2 pm on Sunday and saw a hole was cut in the roof of the building and a container with the cash missing.

Police believe the bandits escaped through the hole in the roof.
