Man found dead in shack

The decomposing body of a man was found in a shack in Diego Martin on Friday night.

According to police, the man, who is yet to be identified, was found on Gopaul Avenue at about 10 pm. Police were alerted when residents reported a stench coming from the shack.

Police said it did not appear as though there were any marks of violence on the body, however, an autopsy is due to be performed. Western Division police are continuing investigations.
