Unidentified man shot in face in Cunipia

Residents of Mon Plaisir Road, Cunupia found the body of a man this morning.

Police said they received a report at about 7.45 am that a body was found. They said the man appeared to have been shot in the face, and could not estimate how old he was due to the wound.

The body was taken to the Forensic Science Centre in St James where an autopsy is expected to be done.

This killing has brought the murder toll to six for the year.
