Xmas Day robbery suspects in hiding

Three bandits who robbed the Haleland Park, Maraval home of Police Commissioner Gary Griffith's 80-year-old neighbour on Christmas morning, continue to elude arrest.

Odette Aboud, 80, and her friend Claudette Ramsingh, 68, remain traumatised after the incident. Investigators said the suspects have gone into hiding and one of the men whose photograph went viral on social media last Friday was seen in Laventille, Beetham and Sea Lots over the weekend.

Police received calls about the man’s whereabouts but when they searched they did not find him.
