Met office cancels hazardous seas alert

The TT Meteorological Service has cancelled its hazardous seas alert for coastal and offshore waters around Tobago, North and East of Trinidad as sea conditions have returned to green level.

In a release the Met Office said sea conditions are returning to a state of normalcy, as low-level winds are becoming weaker. However, caution should still be exercised as waters may remain somewhat choppy near-shore and will be moderate in open waters.

It advised residents and visitors to remain cautious while engaging in sea-related activities and follow the instructions of the lifeguards.
