Wine stolen from P/Valley church

Three bottles of wine were stolen from a Petit Valley church on Christmas Day, though the break-in was only discovered on Thursday.

At about 12.30 pm on Christmas Day, Joanne Lovell, 54, of Petit Valley locked up the St Anthony’s Parish Hall at Morne Coco Road, Petit Valley.

She returned at about 11 am on Thursday to discover several items mising from the cabinet drawers, including three bottles of Aquino wine.

The thieves had entered by breaking a window.

Four Roads police went to the scene, but did not find any usable fingerprints.

Investigations are continuing.
