THE children of the Jairah Boys and Raffa Girls Home were captivated by illusions and a puppet show which were part of a Christmas treat hosted by IGT at the home in Arima.

The magic show performed by Kess, The Illusionist, had everyone awestruck with his intriguing tricks while the puppet show had the audience moving in their seats to popular soca hits, Christmas carols and songs performed by the puppets.

Manager of the home Gloria Cornwall was delighted with the event and expressed her gratitude to IGT, a media release said. “The children and staff alike thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment,” Cornwall said. “Christmas is a time for the children to take their minds away from not being with their parents, and today’s event certainly did that.”
