Police seize gun, ganja during Boxing Day party

Police seized a pistol and some marijuana during a patrol in Laventille on Wednesday.

They said at around 10.30 am, members of the Inter Agency Task Force saw a party at the Straker Village basketball court. The area was searched and police found a Beretta PX4 pistol containing three rounds of .9 mm ammunition and a bag with 45 grams of marijuana near a guava tree.

No one was arrested.
