The arrested men, who matched eyewitnesses’ descriptions of the attackers, are in their early 20s and remained in police custody up to today.

At about 2 am on Saturday, 20-year-old Parson and friends went to buy burgers at a cart when a group of men ran up to them pelting glass bottles.

During the fracas, Parson who lived at Fanny Village, Point Fortin, was stabbed in the head and shoulder. Parson’s friend Kerdell Joseph, 20, and Joseph’s father Lennox, 47, in defending themselves, were also stabbed. The attackers then left.
