Future of TT in hands of millennials

THE EDITOR: For too long we have allowed the tribal, brainwashed way of thinking dictate our voting patterns. They are definitely not based on performance or ability.

If TT is to ever turn the corner, for future development and for our children’s sake we would have to abandon the “norm.”

The voting patterns are obvious as the thinking or lack of suits our true oppressors.

The cry of the Caribbean man, so well expressed by the legendary Bob Marley, is to free ourselves from mental slavery, none other but ourselves can free our minds. So for the millennials, the future is yours and this country too. Therefore do not allow old failed men to ruin your future, their time has passed.

The old diehard fanatical party faithful will come out to vote, but they are not the majority. We must let our democratic system work and get out and have a say in your future, or we will have another five years of woes galore, imposed upon us all by the mindless party minions of TT.
