A San Juan man appeared before a Tunapuna magistrate to face almost two dozen charges of larceny, breaking and entering, indecent exposure and various other sexual offences for a series of crimes allegedly committed between San Juan and Tunapuna earlier this year.

Kerron Lewis, 31, of Sawmill Avenue, San Juan, appeared before senior magistrate Debra Quintyne today.

Lewis was not called upon to plea to the charges of grievous sexual assault and was remanded into custody.

He was charged by constables Lambert and Smith of the Tunapuna police and is expected to reappear in court on Monday.

Lewis is alleged to break into houses and fondling women.

The man was put on an identification parade last week, and was allegedly identified for four out of the six crimes in Tunapuna.

He was arrested last Tuesday at a St Helena hotel where he was renting a room.
