Kidnapped man’s family gets proof of life

Angela Sukhdeo, mother of kidnap-victim Sheldon Sukhdeo, was able to breathe a sigh of relief shortly after midnight when she got a proof her son who was snatched on Sunday is alive.

Around 12.03 today Angela’s cell phone rang. When her son Ceron answered he heard voices on the other end telling Sheldon to speak.

Sheldon was asked some personal questions to prove it was him, and the call lasted for about four minutes.

The matter was reported to Anti-kidnapping officers. Sheldon the brother of slain businessman Sheron Sukhdeo was kidnapped around 5 am on Sunday at the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway in Gasparillo.

No ransom has been demanded for the release of the 32-year-old father of two.
