Cops quiz Venezuelans after Sukhdeo kidnap

Two Venezuelan women and a Venezuelan man were quizzed for several hours over the kidnapping of 32-year-old Chaguanas businessman Sheldon Sukhdeo.

The three were with Sukhdeo on Sunday when he was snatched by kidnappers posing as police officers.

Sukhdeo was driving his silver-grey BMW north along the Solomon Hochoy Highway when near the Gasparillo overpass around 4.10 am. three men in a dark KIA SUV with flashing blue lights made him stop.

One of the men dressed in police uniform and armed with a gun ordered Sukhdeo out of his car and then bundled him into the SUV.

He has not been seen or heard from since.
