Man shot, wounded

A 30-year-old man was shot and wounded in the car park of his workplace in San Fernando on Friday night.

Keaton Abhiram, of Betsy Street, La Romaine, was shot twice in the car park of 4Play Sports Bar and Lounge on Bernard Street. He remains warded at San Fernando General Hospital in a stable condition. At about 9 pm, co-workers heard gunshots and found Abhiram bleeding in the car park. Mon Repos police were contacted and they took him to the hospital.

Patrons said they saw a man running off after they heard the shots.

Last month, the owner of the bar, Kadar Ali-Mark, 34, died at the hospital after being shot in the car park of Anand Low Price Supermarket in La Romaine.
