Two critical after Carenage drive-by

Two men are in critical condition after they were shot several times by a gunman at Neckles Drive, Carenage last night.

Police said the men, Dylan Charles, 28 and Isaiah Marcelle, 29, both of Neckles Drive, were liming outside a shop at about 9.30 pm when a car drove up.

A man dressed in black got out of the passenger seat and shot both men before escaping.

Residents went out to investigate after hearing the gunfire, and saw Charles and Marcelle lying in the street. They took the men to the Port of Spain General Hospital, where they are warded in critical condition.

Carenage police led by Sgt Farrell are investigating.
